STIX

The STIX fonts for scientific and technical information are designed to meet the strict needs of authors, publishers, typesetters, and others working in scientific, medical, and technical fields. They combine an extensive collection of mathematical symbols and Unicode-based alphabets with a set of text styles suitable for professional publications. Version 2 of the STIX fonts, now known as 'STIX Two', is a thorough redesign by the renowned type foundry Tiro Typeworks Ltd. The two STIX fonts consist of one Math font, two variable text fonts (STIXTwoTextVF-Roman and STIXTwoTextVF-Italic), and eight static text fonts (Regular, Italic, Medium, Medium Italic, SemiBold, SemiBold Italic, Bold, and Bold Italic). Together, they provide a unified set of fonts that can be used throughout the production process, whether it is a traditional print-only process, fully electronic, or a combination of both.
