PT Mono

PT Mono is a monospaced font that is part of the PT Project font system. The PT Sans and PT Serif fonts were released earlier in 2009 and 2010. PT Mono is primarily intended for utility purposes — forms, tables, questionnaires, and so on. The monospaced nature of the font significantly facilitates the formatting of complex structured documents, allows for the calculation of field sizes for filling out, and eases column alignment in tables. One of the main purposes of PT Mono is for 'e-government' websites that require filling out various request forms. The font was developed by Alexandra Korolkova with the participation of Isabella Chaeva and released by ParaType in 2011.
