Press Start 2P

Press Start 2P is a bitmap font based on the design of fonts from Namco's 1980s arcade games. It works best at sizes of 8 pixels, 16 pixels, and other multiples of 8. While the design of uppercase letters and numbers traces back to Atari's 'Sprint' (1977), the specific glyph shapes in this TrueType conversion are based on forms from 'Return of Ishtar' (1986), one of the first games to regularly use lowercase and uppercase letters in a screen font.
