About the font
New Computer Modern is a new assembly of Computer Modern fonts plus glyphs for non-Latin alphabets that are stylistically compatible with CM fonts. Computer Modern is the original font family used by the TeX typesetting program, created by Donald Knuth with his Metafont program.
