About the font
Kuhlenbach is a font based on the so-called Civil font (Grazhdanskyy), first introduced by Russian Tsar Peter I (Peter the Great) in 1807, alongside the reform of the Russian alphabet. It could rightly be called Petrine (related to Peter) or Civil. However, the name Kuhlenbach is used to honor an unjustly forgotten individual who contributed to the creation of this font.
